Job Summary:
We are looking for a seasoned educational leader to serve as our Principal. The successful candidate will be responsible for leading the academic and administrative teams, fostering a culture of excellence, and driving student success.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide strategic leadership and direction for the institute
- Foster a culture of academic excellence, innovation, and inclusivity
- Lead and manage the senior leadership team
- Develop and implement institute policies and procedures
- Build and maintain relationships with stakeholders, including staff, students, and community partners
- Oversee budgeting and resource allocation
- Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements
Requirements:
- Master's degree in Education or related field with experience in running a TVET
- Proven experience in educational leadership (minimum 5 years)
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and leadership skills
- Strong strategic thinking and problem-solving abilities
- Commitment to diversity, equity, and inclusion
- Familiarity with accreditation standards and regulatory requirements
Desirable Qualities:
- Experience in curriculum development and implementation
- Knowledge of innovative teaching methods and technologies
- Familiarity with student information systems and data analysis
- Experience in fundraising and community engagement
